 Manitoba PNP Draw – November 1, 2021

Manitoba invited 421 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residency

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) released details of its new immigration draw held on November 1, 2021.

A total of 421 immigration candidates across three streams of MPNP – Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas, and International Education Stream received invitations, also known as Letters of advice to apply (LAAs) for provincial nomination for Canada Permanent residency Visa in this draw.

Out of total invites issued, 75 went to Express Entry Candidates.

The MPNP allows the province to nominate foreign workers and international graduates of its post-secondary institutions for Canadian permanent residence through its three popular immigration pathways – Skilled Worker in Manitoba, Skilled Worker Overseas and International Education Stream.

In order to qualify under the Skilled Workers Overseas Category, candidates need to demonstrate:

  • connections to Manitoba through the likes of close family ties,
  • previous experience in the province, or
  • an invitation through one of Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives

Express Entry Candidates, who successfully receive a provincial nomination from MPNP, are awarded an additional 600 CRS points. This effectively guarantee them an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from IRCC in subsequent PNP-specific Express Entry Draws.

Manitoba has now invited total 9,571 PNP candidates to apply for provincial nomination for Canada PR so far in 2021.
